Collaborating Facilitators

Sally Prebble, Ph.D., GradDipArts (Clinical Psychology), BA(Hons)

Co-founder Peace Talks, Nonviolent Communication Facilitator, CNVC certification candidate

I am a Nonviolent Communication (NVC) facilitator and co-founder of Peace Talks, where we offer NVC training, courses and mediation in Ōtepoti/Dunedin.

I came to the practice of NVC from a background in neuropsychology research and policy analysis, and have been researching, writing and teaching about individual, political and social transformation for over two decades.

My greatest passion is to share NVC as a way to support people to deepen their connection, compassion and empathy with those around them, particularly with children. I see NVC as a powerful and transformative approach for individual growth, for bringing about change within relationships, and as a way to empower ourselves to bring about systemic change in the world around us.

I live north of Dunedin with my husband and three home-schooled children (aged 8, 11 and 13) who bring much joy and light to my life and are my greatest teachers about the nature of life and human relationships
